Fishing on the Sava Bohinjka River
The Sava Bohinjka River begins below the outlet of Lake Bohinj, where the Jezernica, merging with the Mostnica River, forms a pristine, clear, and fast-flowing alpine river. The lower course of the Sava Bohinjka, stretching 17 km, is managed by the Bled Fishing Association.
The fishing season runs:
from April 1 to November 14,
while in the winter, fishing for the Danube Salmon (Huchen) is permitted
from November 15 to February 14.
Climbing in Bohinjska Bela
Apartments Pr'Pišk are just a 3-minute walk from the impressive Iglica rock formation, best known for the climbing area "Stara Bela." This spot is rightly considered one of the top-quality climbing areas in Slovenia. Besides Iglica, Bohinjska Bela features two other climbing areas: Nova Bela, located towards Široka peč, and a climbing spot above Kupljenik. These climbing challenges offer excellent options for both beginners and experienced climbers, promising unforgettable moments in nature.

Savica Waterfall, one of the most iconic waterfalls in Slovenia, dramatically plunges down a steep cliff in two streams, forming the shape of the letter “A”. Mostnice Gorges – A Fairy Tale of Nature
The Mostnice Gorges are a picturesque canyon in the Voje Valley near Bohinj, where the crystal-clear Mostnica River carves deep, narrow gorges through limestone rocks. Along the trail, you'll encounter numerous natural bridges, pools, and waterfalls, creating a magical atmosphere. A walk along the well-maintained path through the gorges offers stunning views of the pristine nature of Triglav National Park.
